libecore-imf1 software package provides Ecore Input Method Framework module, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libecore-imf1
libecore-imf1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libecore-imf1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libecore-imf1 *
You will get with libecore-imf1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
